This Portenta Hat Carrier board seamlessly bridges the Arduino Portenta ecosystem with the extensive range of Raspberry Pi® Hats and cameras, opening up new avenues for developing advanced commercial and industrial solutions. 

It offers straightforward access to a suite of essential peripherals including a CAN bus interface, Ethernet connectivity (Gigabit with Portenta X8, 100Mbit with H7/C33), a USB-A port, and a microSD card slot for data logging or system storage.

Engineered for both rapid prototyping and scalable deployments, the Arduino Portenta Hat Carrier extends the capabilities of the Portenta System on Modules by incorporating a 40-pin Raspberry Pi compatible GPIO header, a dedicated MIPI CSI camera connector for machine vision tasks, and an additional 16 analog I/O pins for interfacing with sensors and actuators.

For enhanced development and reliability, it includes dedicated JTAG pins for debugging and a PWM fan connector to manage thermal performance under demanding workloads, making it an ideal choice for building automation, machine monitoring, and robotics applications.
